FOCUSES OF PRACTICE
-
Identity
Unfortunately, how we show up in the world and/or are perceived by others can cause us deep emotional distress. One’s race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexuality, body presentation, and visible and invisible disabilities can be significantly affected by stereotypes, microaggressions, and marginalization of all kinds. This is a wound, a trauma carried throughout life. I welcome the opportunity to process with you, in an affirming space, how you can reclaim and feel brave in your human experience.

New Life Experiences
Sometimes, our relationships, from intimate, familiar, friendships, or work can lead to distress and unhealthy boundaries that can lead to difficulty remembering our worth and belonging. Let's work collaboratively to process the narratives and emotional experiences to support your inner strength to establish an open and healthy environment where you and those in the community feel affirmed.
-
Long Term Experiences
Experiences that occur once or multiple times throughout our life can lead to anxiety, depression, poor self-esteem, and trauma. These experiences can impact how we see the world, others, and most importantly ourselves. Processing these life experiences can feel daunting, and the collaborative process of therapy can allow for time for a person to process their current narratives and create new pathways to create something different and healthier.
